Fixing our eyes on Jesus
Looking at Jesus means believing and trusting in Him. Jesus is our Trainer in this Race, He is our Refuge and Strength, a very present help in trouble. My help cometh from the Lord, which made heaven and earth. Jesus is the one who has given us life and has sent the Helper to be with us always, He is my Fortress, my Healer, my Strength, my Peace; and my very present Helper in time of needs. The Lord shall preserve my going out and my coming in from this time forth, and even for evermore.
We run this Race by faith, by His Word and by the power of His Spirit. We must fix our eyes on Jesus, the Creator and the Perfecter of our faith.
Surely Your Goodness and Love will follow me all the days of my life, and I will dwell in the House of the Lord forever. Psalm 23:6
Fixing our eyes on Jesus, the Pioneer and Perfecter of Faith. For the joy set before Him He endured the Cross, scorning its shame, and sat down at the right hand of the Throne of God. Hebrews 12:2
“He Himself bore our sins” in His body on the Cross, so that we might die to sins and live for righteousness; “by His Wounds you have been healed.”
1 Peter 2:24
Surely He took up our pain and bore our suffering, yet we considered Him punished by God, stricken by Him, and afflicted. Isaiah 53:4
For the message of the Cross is foolishness to those who are perishing, but to us who are being saved it is the power of God. 1 Corinthians 1:18
Whoever does not take up their cross and follow Me is not worthy of Me. Matthew 10:38
The angel said to the women, “Do not be afraid, for I know that you are looking for Jesus, who was crucified. He is not here; He has risen, just as he said. Come and see the place where he lay.” Matthew 28:5-6
He is not here; He has risen! Remember how he told you, while he was still with you in Galilee: ‘The Son of Man must be delivered over to the hands of sinners, be crucified and on the third day be raised again.’ Luke 24:6-7
“Look, He is coming with the clouds,” and “every eye will see Him, even those who pierced Him”; and all peoples on earth “will mourn because of Him.” So shall it be! Amen.
Jesus said to her, “I Am the Resurrection and the Life. Whoever believes in Me, though he die, yet shall he live, and everyone who lives and believes in Me shall never die. Do you believe this?” John 11:25-26
Lord Jesus, I believe in You, and I believe in Your Word.
Thank you Jesus for the Price You paid for me.
Thank you Jesus for loving me, I worship You and glorify Your Name. Amen!
