I will praise the Lord for He is the Rock of my salvation; He is my deliverer, and my God in WHOM I trust. Therefore, Praise Will Continually be upon my lips, I WILL Praise the LORD at ALL TIMES. Praising God allows us to defeat the strategies of the enemy. As children, of God, we no longer have to remain slaves to sin.
We have a powerful spiritual weapon in praise, and the enemy has to flee in the name of Jesus, and by the Power of His Blood. The Lord has given us mighty weapons to counter satanic activity.
But in order to be efficient in our warfare, we must know what these weapons are, and how to use them intelligently. As Paul states in Ephesians 6:12, our fight is not with flesh and blood, with people, but with the host of demons that work in the darkness.
“For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in heavenly places” (Ephesians 6:12). Praise Silences the Enemy. “Praise the LORD, for His mercy endures forever.
In 2 Chronicles 20: The battle is led by God and by singing worshippers.
When the people of Moab with the people of Ammon, and others with them besides the Ammonites, came to battle against Jehoshaphat. Then some came and told Jehoshaphat, saying, “A great multitude is coming against you from beyond the sea, from Syria; and they are in Hazazon Tamar” (which is En Gedi).
And Jehoshaphat feared, and set himself to seek the LORD, and proclaimed a fast throughout all Judah. So Judah gathered together to ask help from the LORD; and from all the cities of Judah they came to seek the LORD.
king Jehoshaphat rose early in the morning and went out into the Wilderness of Tekoa; and as they went out, Jehoshaphat stood and said, “Hear me, O Judah and you inhabitants of Jerusalem: Believe in the LORD your God, and you shall be established; believe His prophets, and you shall prosper.”
And when he had consulted with the people, he appointed those who should sing to the LORD, and who should praise the beauty of holiness, as they went out before the army and were saying: “Praise the LORD, For His mercy endures forever.”
When they began to sing and to praise, the LORD set ambushes against the people, and they were defeated. Praise Silences the Enemy. “Praise the LORD, for His mercy endures forever!
Father God thank You for the power of praises. Lord, You are great and worthy to be praised. Put a new song in my heart every day. Lord, may my lips forever sing Your praises.
I heard the voice of the Lord, saying, whom shall I send, and who will go for us? Then said I, Here am I; send me.” I WILL praise the LORD! (Isaiah 6:8).
Amen!
