“In their hearts humans plan their course, but the LORD establishes their steps. The steps of a good man are ordered by the LORD: and He delights in his way” (Proverbs 16:9, Psalm 37:23). Lord I ask You to direct my paths, lead me and guide me every day.
Father I am committed to walk with You and honor You with all my heart. Forgive all my transgressions and help me to follow Your steps. Lord wash me thoroughly from my iniquity, and cleanse me from my sins. (Psalm 51:1-3).
Wash my heart in Your Word and search me while I run this Race. Father God, today I desire to follow Your will, I surrender my life to You completely. Order my steps in thy Word: and let not any iniquity have dominion over me (Psalm 119:133).
Jesus I know that You are light and in You is no darkness (1 John 1:5). For You will light my lamp; the Lord my God will enlighten my darkness. (Psalm 18:28). Lord I give this day to You believing that the light You give me is just the amount I need for the steps I am on. Order my steps in Your Word dear Lord, order my day everyday and be in charge of it.
Father let the words of my mouth be acceptable in Your sight. Take charge of my thoughts both day and night. Renew my mind and help me to think upon what is true, noble, just, pure, lovely, of good report, virtuous, and praiseworthy (Philippians 4:8). Order my steps in Your Word Lord. Order my tongue in Your Word.
Let my tongue sing of Your Word, for all Your commandments are righteousness. Guide my feet in Your Word and teach me Your will. While You are working, help me be still, and wait in You. Lord, help me to apply my heart to Your instruction and my ears to Your Words of knowledge (proverbs 23: 12).
Fill my heart with Your love so that it will flow from my mouth. Show me when to speak and when not to. “Pleasant words are like a honeycomb, sweetness to the soul and health to the bones” (Proverbs 16:24). Father I pray that You would help me set my life in right order. Thank you for ordering my steps.
Thank you Lord that in my distress I can call on You. You have relieved me from my troubles for now I am free. Lord, cause me to hear Your lovingkindness in the morning for in You do I trust; Cause me to know the way in which I should walk, for I lift up my soul to You ( Psalm 143:8).
Because Your lovingkindness is better than life, my lips shall praise You. Thus I will bless You while I live; I will lift up my hands in Your name (Psalm 63:3-4). Lord I thank you that I have been saved and reconciled to You because of Your Son, Jesus.
For if when we were enemies we were reconciled to God through the death of His Son, much more, having been reconciled, we shall be saved by His life.
And not only that, but we also rejoice in God through our Lord Jesus Christ, through whom we have now received the reconciliation. (Romans 5:10-11). Thank You Lord, for filling my heart and ordering my steps in Your Word.
