David said to the Philistine, “You come against me with sword and spear and javelin, but I come against you in the name of the LORD Almighty, the God of the armies of Israel, whom you have defied. This day the LORD will hand you over to me, and I’ll strike you down and cut off your head.
Today I will give the carcasses of the Philistine army to the birds of the air and the beasts of the earth, and the whole world will know that there is a God in Israel. All those gathered here will know that it is not by sword or spear that the LORD saves; for the battle is the LORD’s, and he will give all of you into our hands” (1 Samuel 17:45-47).
David rehearsed words of victory against his giant. Today we have the power to fight back to our giants which are the circumstances of our lives. As warrior of the Lord almighty we must intercede every day to obtain our victory against our enemies especially when we are place in the middle of a battle.
We must proclaimed and declare a prayer of victory aloud in the name of Jesus. It will empower us to fight the good fight of faith. Don’t give up keep running the race not matter what, focus in the finish line; Jesus is the Finish Line. Remember that we all must be tested in order to qualify in the Race. “We know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose” (Romans 8:28).
They will make war against the Lamb, but the Lamb will overcome them because He is Lord of lords and King of kings—and with Him will be His called chosen and faithful followers” Alleluia! Alleluia! And Alleluia!
There is not time to be afraid; because the God of Israel; Jehovah Nissi is your banner. The LORD of hosts is your Warrior; He will protect, deliver and rescue His covenant people. He will be with you like He did with David. We must trust God and believe His promise by faith and not by sight; the fulfillment of this prophecy is most likely when the Lord Jesus returns at the end of this present age as Commander of the Armies of Host which include saints and angels.
When we pray we overcome the enemy with God’s sword, which was the weapon used by King Jehoshaphat when a huge multitude had plan to attack him. He was afraid, but instead of fighting with his own strengths, he prayed to the Lord of Host. God answer him immediately and said: “Listen, King Jehoshaphat and all who live in Judah and Jerusalem! This is what the LORD says to you: ‘Do not be afraid or discouraged because of this vast army.
For the battle is not yours, but God’s” (2 Chronicles 20:15). God says to you today: “I am the first and I am the last, and there is no God besides Me; “Do not be afraid. Stand firm and you will see the deliverance the LORD will bring you today. The Lord will fight for you; you need only to be still. Trust and believe with all your heart; repent, seek Him all the time, humble yourself and you will see your victory.
Blessing Friends.
