“So also, Christ died only once as an offering for the sins of many people and he will come again, but not to deal again with our sins. This time he will come bringing salvation to all those who are eagerly and patiently waiting for him”. Hebrews 9:28
People used the sacrifices of animal blood to cleanse themselves of their sins. These sacrifices last a short period and for that reason, they were repeated over and over because their time was ephemeral. The animal blood used to repeal the sins was short-lived. Therefore, this sacrifice cannot change a person’s soul. On the other hand, Christ’s Sacrifice does not need to be continuous as animal sacrifices do. Jesus came to clean us for our transgression and give us eternal life.
Jesus said to him, “I Am the Way, and the Truth, and the Life; no one comes to the Father but through Me. John 14:6
And this is what God has testified: He has given us eternal life, and this life is in his Son. Whoever has the Son has life; whoever does not have God’s Son does not have life. 1 John 5:11–12
Thank You Lord Jesus for the Cross. Your Grace and Mercy endures forever. Thank You for the Price You paid for us. Father, thank You for my salvation. Amen!
