“Create in me a clean heart, O God; and renew a right spirit within me. Cast me not away from thy presence; and take not thy Holy Spirit from me. Restore unto me the joy of thy salvation; and uphold me with thy free Spirit.” Psalm 51:10-12(KJV)
God has given us mighty weapons to counter satanic influence and activity. But in order to be effective in our warfare, we must know what these weapons are, and how to use them effectively. The apostle Paul states that we are engaged in warfare, and that we have weapons with which we must fight.
As Paul states in Ephesians 6:12, our fight is not with flesh and blood, with people, but with the host of demons that work to defile, destroy, harass, tempt and enslave mankind. “For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal but mighty in God for pulling down strongholds, casting down arguments and every high thing that exalts itself against the knowledge of God, bringing every thought into captivity to the obedience of Christ”. (2 Corinthians 10:4, 5)
The enemy does not have education nether manners, he enters without invitation and one of his strategies is to bring torment in people mind in other hand, God is a gentlemen, He knocks your door (heart) before and wait for you to open. God is a God of peace. Jesus does not want His church, His disciples, to be fearful of anything. Instead, Jesus wants you to have His peace,” Peace I leave with you, my peace I give unto you: not as the world giveth, give I unto you I unto you. Let not your hearts be troubled neither let it be afraid” (John 14: 27 KJV).
Use the authority that the Lord give to you, stand firm and wait in Him. Probably during that process of waiting, you may get desperate and impatience, it is okay, buy remember if you wait, you will hear from God and obtain your victory. What happen to us is that is a litter difficult to learn how to way. “Do you not know that in a race all the runners run, but only one gets the prize? Run in such a way as to get the prize. Everyone who competes in the games goes into strict training. They do it to get a crown that will not last, but we do it to get a crown that will last forever” (1 Corinthians 9:24-25).
In our spiritual training, we must embrace the word in our minds and dots not give place to the enemy. In order to qualify in the race, we must to know what thoughts qualify to be in your mind. Those thoughts must be captured and wrong attitudes crucified in order to obtain your peace. Let your mind be renewed by reading and studying the Word of God.
You have the authority to casting down arguments and every high thing that exalts itself against the knowledge of God, and bring every thought into captivity to the obedience of Christ. If you thoughts are not true, honest, just, or pure, do not allow those thoughts to take roots in your mind. We must never allow ourselves to grow weary in the work of the Lord. Each service we do in the name of the Lord will bring glory to Him, and we shall be rewarded in due season.
May the words of our mouths and the meditations of our hearts be acceptable in God’s sight.
